Asterisks Password Viewer is a simple but very handy application that stores your frequently used passwords like the one for your ftp connection or email client. Sometimes, many of these programs save your passwords and as you no longer have to enter them manually, you forget them. This program helps you to view those passwords hidden behind the asterisks. Thanks to its intuitive and simple user interface, you can perform this task easily. You just have to drag the magnifying glass over the password area to reveal it. It 's as simple as that. The program supports email clients like The BAT!, Microsoft Outlook / Outlook Express, etc. and FTP clients including FlashFXP, CuteFTP, among others. The program is not free but you can download its trial version that will only reveal the first three characters, but at least you can try it and be familiar with the user interface. However, the price is pretty affordable and you have the program forever. All in all, Asterisks Password Viewer is a simple program that can be very useful in case you are a forgetful person. However, if you need to reveal passwords stored on the Web or passwords protected by other means, you should look elsewhere. |
